Starting shooting
- Try it out at a club or shooting ground to see if you like it.
- Contact your local police for advice on applying for a certificate.
- Get some form of secure storage (it can be rented at some dealers, but most people buy their own secure cabinet)
- Apply for a licence.
- Get some insurance.
- Buy a gun and some cartridges.
- Get some lessons and find somewhere to shoot.
You don't need any particular clothing to go clay pigeon shooting, but you should have ear defenders and safety glasses.
