Starting shooting

  1. Try it out at a club or shooting ground to see if you like it.
  2. Contact your local police for advice on applying for a certificate.
  3. Get some form of secure storage (it can be rented at some dealers, but most people buy their own secure cabinet)
  4. Apply for a licence.
  5. Get some insurance.
  6. Buy a gun and some cartridges.
  7. Get some lessons and find somewhere to shoot.

You don't need any particular clothing to go clay pigeon shooting, but you should have ear defenders and safety glasses.
